When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as possible to help us finalize our plans. The RSVP deadline is June 25th. If we do not receive your response by then, we will assume you are unable to attend. Please visit the RSVP page on this website to respond. Simply enter your name to access your invitation. At that time, you can also share any allergies or dietary requirements with us.

What should I know about the wedding venue?

Answer

Galena Lodge is fully outdoors for both the ceremony and reception, and being up in the mountains means the weather can vary throughout the day. It will likely be warm during the ceremony and cool off into the evening. There is no cell service at Galena, so please plan ahead.

How will the shuttle work?

Answer

There will be parking available in the South parking lot at the Ernest Hemingway STEAM School in Ketchum. Shuttles will leave promptly at 4:00 PM, so please be sure to arrive on time. Guests will be dropped off at Galena by 5:00 PM, so you'll have plenty of time to make your way to the ceremony starting at 5:30 PM. Return shuttles will begin at 9:00 PM and run through 11:00 PM.

Do I have to take the shuttle?

Answer

Yes. Per our venue’s requirements, all guests are asked to take the shuttle to and from Galena Lodge.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Mountain cocktail with a western twist. Think dresses, polished separates, and suits—paired with cowboy boots, bolo ties, or a great hat if you’d like. Kindly no blue denim. We recommend wearing shoes you can comfortably walk in, as there is a short (about 5-minute) easy trail to the ceremony site.

What should I expect for weather?

Answer

Sun Valley summers are typically warm during the day and cool at night, so we recommend a light wrap or jacket and sunglasses for the outdoor ceremony. We'll provide sunscreen and bug spray for the ceremony.

What happens in the case of inclement weather?

Answer

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the weather and will share any updates if plans need to change. The reception area is tented for coverage, and we’ll make decisions for the ceremony with guest comfort in mind so everyone can still enjoy the day.

Will there be food and drinks served at the wedding?

Answer

We’ll have a cocktail hour with drinks and light bites followed by a buffet-style dinner and dessert. Beer and wine are hosted, with a cash bar available for spirits.

Can I bring a plus one?

We kindly ask that guests only bring a plus one if it is specifically noted on their invitation.
