The VenueThe Venue

Our wedding venue features two of the oldest houses in Waco, TX, located on five acres of expansive gardens. The Earle-Harrison house was completed in 1858 for Dr. Baylis Earle and, wife, Eliza Harrison. This side-entry Greek Revival-style home is Waco’s only restored antebellum building. The 5,000 sq. ft. structure features 14-ft. 1st-floor ceilings, walk-through windows onto verandas, and spacious rooms. It served as a home until 1891, when the house was sold upon the settlement of the Harrison estate.
Eventually, the building became subdivided into apartments and fell into disrepair, and it was slated for demolition. Relocation and restoration began in 1967, spearheaded by Nell Pape. Columns and the roof were removed, and its frame structure was cut in half for the 1.9-mile ride to its present site.
We invite you to also spend time in the wonderful city of Waco and have provided some suggestions on how to make the most of your weekend here!
