Our Recommendations for Getting to Agate Beach Lodge as Smoothly as Possible

Driving from Seattle (especially on July 4th):
If you're traveling up on the 4th of July like we are, we recommend avoiding the Edmonds ferry due to heavy holiday traffic and potential delays. Instead, consider driving around via the Tacoma Narrows Bridge or other routes to bypass the ferry lines altogether.

Final Approach to the Lodge:
There are two roads that lead to the venue. Please take Hayden Road rather than Crescent Beach Road. We’ve driven both, and Hayden Road has more signage for Agate Beach Lodge, making it much easier to follow. As you approach, you’ll see two A-frame cabins that look quite similar — just a heads-up: the one that appears to be under construction is not the wedding venue (we promise you’ll know when you’ve arrived!).
