Raleigh-Durham International Airport

About an hour and a half east of the wedding venue. We recommend this airport if you want to do things in the Raleigh/Durham area before or after the wedding day.

High Point

Only 10-15 minutes northeast of the venue, High Point has amazing antique and furniture stores (Furniture Capital of the World, baby!!). If you’re traveling for the wedding, we recommend staying in Greensboro, High Point, or Winston-Salem.

Greensboro

About 30 minutes northeast of the venue. Lots of great gardens and arboretums, parks, shopping centers, and historical sites. If you’re traveling for the wedding, we recommend staying in Greensboro, High Point, or Winston-Salem.

Winston-Salem

About 30 minutes northwest of the venue, with lots of unique historical sites, vineyards, gardens, and beautiful parks. If you’re traveling for the wedding, we recommend staying in Greensboro, High Point, or Winston-Salem.

Raleigh / Durham

About an hour and a half east of the venue. Favorite attractions are Duke Gardens, NC Museum of Art, Lake Johnson, Historic Oakwood neighborhood & cemetery, Historic Yates Mill County Park, JC Raulston Arboretum, the State Farmers Market, and Howling Cow Creamery.

Mountains

2-3 hours west of the wedding venue, but if you have some days to spare, it's the perfect time of year to visit the North Carolina mountains! Asheville, Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Bryson City, and Linville are our recommended places to visit, and of course make sure to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway!
