We met in the quiet, electric way high school love often begins—me a sophomore, you a junior—two lives brushing together and deciding, somehow, to stay that way. From lockers and late-night talks to football games and homework sprawled across the same table, we did all the high school things side by side. We danced at prom not once, but twice, already knowing that what we had was something steady and rare, something that made even ordinary days feel like they mattered more because we were sharing them. After graduation, we didn’t drift apart—we built forward. Our first house became our first true home, filled with laughter, growing pains, and three cats we proudly call our children. We’ve grown into adults together, learning how to love, how to be patient, and how to face life one step at a time, hand in hand. We don’t know exactly where the rest of the road will lead, but we know this: wherever life takes us, we’ll get there together, just like we always have.
