Question

Where is the venue?

Answer

The venue is tucked behind Central Barbecue on Summer Avenue. Pull into Central Barbecue and drive to the back. You will see an open gate!

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Our wedding theme is a music festival. At every music festival there is a wide arrange of creative and interesting fashions. It’s quite fun to see all the beautiful outfits people put together! Although we do ask that you keep your attire within the realm of cocktail attire (cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and sports jackets and slacks), we encourage you to be creative! Add a fun patterned tie or wear a dress with a unique pattern. Want to dress up a bit more? Be our guest! Some of our favorite sights to see at festivals are the people who go all out! (Please no white dresses) Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outside & reception will take place inside. LADIES please note that the ceremony area is grass. You may want to wear flats OR purchase heel protectors off of amazon to protect your shoes just in case.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly ask that you please follow the invitation you receive. Careful planning is taking place to ensure a unique experience for each of our invited guests. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is free parking at the venue. In addition, there is also armed security for the event. Important note! If you plan on drinking please know that you ARE allowed to leave your vehicle on the premises if you need to get a ride home. Please do not drink and drive. :)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children. We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style!

Question

COVID Precautions and Procedures

Answer

Our event will not require masks, but we highly encourage our guests to get vaccinated to protect themselves and others. We ask that if you have been exposed to COVID-19 (regardless of vaccination status) or are not feeling well to PLEASE stay home. We will livestream the ceremony for you. Our event will be attended by our most beloved elders and we ask that you do everything to protect them so they can be there for our special day and many more.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Our wedding will be catered buffet style by Off the Square Catering and we will have several non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages available for your enjoyment. We will also have cake! Our bartenders will be accepting tips via cash or digital (Venmo, CashApp).

Question

Food allergy or Dietary Restriction

Answer

We want you to be safe and able to enjoy our wedding. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know so that we may accommodate you.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

A cocktail hour will begin at 4:30pm. Please attempt to arrive by at least 5:00pm. There will be light refreshments available and this will give you time to find a seat and mingle with other guests. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm.

Question

Will there be music/dancing/entertainment?

Answer

Is the sky blue!? Our theme is a music festival! We have worked very hard to carefully select a handful of live musicians for our event. Although it may not be the music you are used to, we ask that you keep an open mind and enjoy yourself. We want to embody the joyous experiences that we have shared at music festivals and share that with you!
