Maddy and Johnny met at work and first went out as friends with cousin Jen to see the play Wicked. Following heart break for both of them, Maddy and Johnny became closer to help each other through the difficult time. After many late-night chats, early morning workouts, and fireworks for the 4th of July, Johnny officially asked Maddy out on a date to Eddy V's. Their connection was quick, and their hearts grew for each other! Fast forward past weekend hikes, McDonald's nights, and Johnny dumping his part-time gig at Pappasito's to December 2024 in Madrid, Spain. Johnny dropped to one knee with a blue raspberry ring pop and asked Maddy to be his wife. She said yes, of course, because that is her favorite flavor! Ever since the end of June 2023 Maddy and Johnny have been inseparable, and their love has grown tremendously. They plan each year to spend their dating anniversary at Eddy V's and to possibly return to Madrid in 10 years to visit the place where they decided to spend life together.
