Many of you have been around for our story thus far. For those of you who haven't here is a brief synopsis, and for those of you who have been maybe you'll learn something new. Of course, it is going to be hard to fit almost TEN years of memories into just a few short paragraphs. It all started in the halls of Holly Hill Academy as middle schoolers. John was someone that I had "liked" for a while but came up with reason after reason as to why I shouldn't "date" him, none of which were valid. Abbott and Ashley convinced me to just go for it. Well, little did I know John was having the same discussion with his friends. So we were on the same page, BUT there was one condition: we had to keep it a secret. So, for almost a year we kept it a secret, or so we thought. We tried so hard, John would bring his JV football jersey to school on Thursdays I would wear it all day at school, but NEVER take it home. We look back now and laugh at how silly that sounds, but it's part of our story. Fast forward a few years, and we began high school. Our high school years were fun, memorable, and filled with so many laughs. We got to experience some of our best teenage memories together from prom and homecoming to Friday night lights and hanging out with our friends in a field somewhere, but the best part was that we got to experience it with each other. Growing and learning alongside each other is something I cherish about our story. Post graduating from HHA we started a new chapter of our lives, we moved to Clemson. Prior to moving John told my mom he didn’t need to make friends, he had ME. Little did he know he would meet two men that would be apart of OUR big day. A week after I graduated from Clemson, John asked me to spend forever with him. The wait was SO worth it! Thank you to everyone who had a part of our story. Now it is time to begin the next and BEST chapter together, life as Husband and Wife.
