December 16th was a day filled with family, friends, and lots of love! I graduated that morning from Texas Tech University and then headed over to the business school to take pictures. Little did I know that Jd, my parents, and my best friends were orchestrating the perfect plan to get me in the right place at the right time. I would like to say I went with the plan effortlessly, but my love for plans going perfectly got in the way a tad. As we were wrapping up pictures my closest friend, Macy, suggested we take one more picture at a beautiful spot outside downstairs. As I made my way down the stair well I noticed rose petals lining the path, then I saw that Jd had stepped in front of me, and my friends and family had slowed down. My heart began to flutter as everything clicked, I rounded the corner to see a beautiful spot with flowers, pictures of the two of us, and sure enough the man of my dreams kneeled down and asked me the easiest question I have ever been asked. "Will you marry me?" The next moments are all a blur, but Jd insists that I didn't even say yes I just started screaming/crying/laughing/hugging. I even grabbed the ring from him before he had time to put it on me (not one of my proudest moments) It truly was the moment that little girls dream of when they watch movies, beautiful scenery, the people I care for surrounding me, my parents capturing the special moments on camera, Jd had even let me pick his outfit out for "graduation." Most importantly the man I have loved for the past 6 years did all of this for me! I feel like the most special girl in the world. I cannot wait to marry you Jd!
