Cody and I met randomly through his brother Seth Hannah back in 2017. We did not think much of it since I was in school 4 hours away and he lived an adventurous life moving around for rafting, kayaking and skiing, We were polar opposites when we met but they say opposites attract and they definitely did. We would see each other over time when we were both in town but with such different lifestyles, we never thought we would end up together. In 2020 while I was working in Orlando and he was living in his van in Colorado, COVID-19 flipped the world upside down. He always told me to come visit him but I never got the opportunity. We both came back to Tennessee to be with family during the outbreak. During this time, Cody showed me a different side of the world. We didn't worry about COVID or getting sick, we were just happy to spend time together. He asked me in April 2020 to load up in his van and go back to Colorado with him. I was there for a couple weeks thinking I was going to leave and go our separate ways. Right before I left, he told me he loved me. Next thing I know, I was at the Denver airport finding us an apartment in Colorado Springs. We moved in together shortly after and I am so glad we did. I can't wait to marry my best friend
