We're Getting Married!

Jake and Madison first met at Purdue at a baseball house party in 2019. Jake was on the baseball team and Madison was a cheerleader. In an attempt to make a great, first impression, Jake decided to show off his skills to the cheerleaders by attempting a back flip. After gracefully landing on the back of his head, Madison was left with an impression she would never forget. In 2021, Jake and Madison found themselves in the same exact house where they had had their first unforgettable encounter. As Madison was making her way through the house, she spotted Jake pretending to be a bartender, jokingly asking people to Venmo money to him for drinks that weren't even his. It was here that Madison approached the bar and said, "Hey, Jake", to which Jake replied, "Hey...I know you...but I don't know your name". This sparked a flame (and argument) between them and is the beginning of their love story. With a month filled with sushi dates, late nights out at Harry's Chocolate Shop, and home-cooked dinners, Jake finally asked Madison to be his girlfriend on Halloween night in 2021. Their next two years together would be filled with traveling, joining new cheerleading teams (that's right, both Jake and Madison), and even getting a puppy together (Ryder aka Mr. Bubbas aka Ryder Dyder aka Meatloaf). On December 16, 2023 Jake planned a night out in Chicago for Madison's birthday, or that is at least what he told her. They went out to a nice dinner on Michigan Ave, picked up Chick-fil-A on the walk home (they knew they would be hungry later), and made their way up to the rooftop of the Godfrey Hotel. It was here that Jake took her in front of the skyline, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry her. And now, they can't wait to celebrate their love story with all of their friends and family together on June 21, 2025!
