FAQs

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All of wedding events will be taking place in an outdoor garden; we recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Late August in Central Oregon is usually warm, sunny, and dry. Expect daytime temps in the 80s, with cooler evenings in the 50s–60s once the sun sets, so bringing a light layer is a good idea since we’ll be outdoors all evening.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to our 4:30pm ceremony time to grab a drink and ensure everyone is seated on time.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your children, we kindly ask that this be an adults-only celebration. With the exception of our immediate family and younger relatives, we hope you’ll enjoy a night off and celebrate with us.

Question

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. There will be a meat, fish and gluten-free/nut-free/vegan option available.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

We’ll be providing shuttles to and from the venue with two pickup locations, one in Bend and one in Sunriver for guests staying in those areas. There is no parking available at the venue, so guests will need to plan to park or be dropped off at one of the shuttle locations. More details on exact pickup spots and timing will be shared closer to the wedding. You can help us out by letting us know where you’re staying when you RSVP so we can plan shuttle routes and capacity accordingly.
