Gunar and I met through mutual friends when we were 19 years old. We set up a blind date to meet at Showplace 12 to go see Pitch Perfect. This might be a little cliche but when I first walked into the movie theaters and saw Gunar, it felt like the whole world stopped in that very moment. I probably said five words the whole entire date so he did all the talking. We later went to Taco Bell in his blazer that I was afraid that would break down at any point. After the date we both called our friends going crazy about how awesome the date was and couldn’t stop smiling! On my way home I passed Gunar without him know and I caught him singing on top of his lungs (which now we both do together). Our first kiss was the BEST! We were both driving home from a date and all the sudden I get this text saying to pull over. So I do and he got in my truck and just stared at me. I could tell he was nervous and so was I. I finally said, “Are you going to kiss me or not.” (He finally did).
