Gavin and Madison met in January 2024 in Kona Hawaii at a movie night with their friends. They would say hi to each other around the YWAM campus over the months but it wasn't until July that Madison's eyes were opened to how great Gavin is. Thus began a month of Madison trying to figure out if Gavin was also interested in her. It took him a bit to pick up on all her hints but as he did, through spending much time together, he realized the time spent together was far more enjoyable than time spent apart and decided to ask her on a coffee date. In the weeks following, you could find Madison and Gavin pretty much anywhere together, the campus cafeteria, the beach, friends houses, etc. They started dating on October 19th 2024 and both knew it was going to be an intentional relationship from the beginning. Neither of them were looking for a casual time. After just barely 5 months of dating they got engaged at a coffee shop on March 15th.
