On their first date, as they approached each other in the brewery parking lot, time stood still. The two could instantly feel the sparks between them and as cliché as it may sound, it was love at first sight. Their beers grew warm as they chatted for hours, pouring over every detail they could learn about each other. As Madison left to go home she asked Gabriella to come over the next day to make pasta. Before the question could fully leave Madison's mouth, Gabriella said "Yes!" with sheer delight. After the pasta turned out horribly, they laughed on the drive to a restaurant. Little did they know they'd spend every day after with their faces hurting from smiling so much. Forever in love and laughter.
In the spirit of eternal commitment, Madison and Gabriella decided that they would both ask the other for their hand in marriage. They felt it honored their relationship to give both of them a special and unique proposal.
The day we pronounced our love and commitment to each other for eternity. We held an intimate ceremony outside of the old court house. After our nuptials, we got matching tattoos of two gingko leaves intertwined to symbolize our marriage and remind us of when we met. We loved walking among the yellow gingko trees in KY during the fall, trying to find a leaf that looked most like a heart. It was the most beautiful and magical day. We are still beaming with excitement!
We will be moving to Madrid, Spain in 2024!
