The Wedding Website of Madison Bielke and Eric Kniepkamp
Question

Where should we park?

Answer

We ask that all guests park on 39th street which runs along the East side of Wild Carrot. 39th street is not metered as well as nonresidential. Wild Carrot is located in a neighborhood in the city! With that in mind, they try to avoid guests parking on Shaw Blvd as it is a residential street and many of the neighbors rely on the street parking.

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

It is both! The ceremony will be outside, but the cocktail hour and reception will both be indoors.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire.

Question

Is the wedding and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes, both will take place at the Wild Carrot!

Question

Is there going to be a cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes, there will be an hour-long cocktail hour to allow time for our photographer to take professional photos of family and the wedding party with the newlyweds. The cocktail hour will be held inside the venue. There will be appetizers to snack on as well as the open bar!

Question

Can I record or take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

In the politest way possible, No. We are asking all phones to have ringers turned OFF and secured away in your pocket or purse. Please do not pull your phone out at any point during the ceremony. We are paying a professional photographer to take photos which you will have access to as soon as we do. After the ceremony feel free to take all the pictures and videos you'd like!!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we are keeping our wedding day an adult-only event. We encourage you use this evening as a night off!

Question

Can I bring an extra guest or date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony? What if I'm running late?

Answer

The ceremony itself is at 5:30pm. We are asking guests to arrive around 5 pm to ensure everyone is present and seated before the ceremony itself begins.

Question

If I'm coming from out of town where should I stay?

Answer

We would recommend a hotel on the Illinois side of the river as most family and friends reside there. The Dury Inn and Suites (1118 Central Park Dr. O'Fallon, IL 62269) is always a good option! It is right next to the highway and a short 30-minute drive to the venue.

Question

When do i need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than April 1st!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a full open bar serving unlimited cocktails, wine, and beer all night long. They will also be offering delicious mocktails for those who chose not to drink!

Question

What if I am allergic to certain foods?

Answer

Please alert us when you RSVP of any food allergies so we can accommodate accordingly.
