Maid of Honor
These two are sisters by blood, best friends by choice. Being six years and two states apart doesn’t stop Marin and Maddie from being inseparable and has ultimately created an incredible sisterly bond. Between endless nights of uncontrollable laughing and enduring countless hours on the phone attempting to maintain each other’s sanity through hard times, the Sinsley girls are rock solid. Marin has been there for Maddie through all of her best and worst moments, leaving no question as to who else could have been her maid of honor. Marin and Maddie’s humor is unique to the point that others cannot begin to understand and they love it that way. The older they get, the more inside jokes, and the less Marin says the word “like”, the more special and thriving this sisterhood becomes.
Best Man
Austen has always been someone for Elliot to look up to in his dedicated ways. They have had many shared interests in activities over the years from mountain biking to snowboarding and have always provided each other with a great partner to go with. Elliot had the pleasure of standing by his brothers side as his best man when he married his wife, Sariah Paulsen, and it is now Austen’s turn to top Elliot’s amazing speech.

Lacey and Maddie met in graduate school at GWU, both having moved far from home to further their education and fulfill their dream careers. Their friendship began to form during a class project together and everything just took off from there! Despite her constant attempts to pretend that Maddie’s antics don’t amuse her, Lacey has been an extremely loving, supportive, and positive influence in Maddie’s life for the past 3+ years. Lacey was there the day that Maddie and Elliot got engaged while visiting them in Utah! Not only do they amuse the hell out of each other daily, they also have many of the same interests and aspirations. These two align in so many ways that it’s hard to keep track! Lacey is a saving grace in Maddie’s life, so obviously she must be by her side at her wedding!
Groomsman
Ian first started taking Elliot with him when he would go play table top games. From there, their friendship began to build on a love for meat and all sorts of games. Anytime either of them has a chance to get out of the house, they almost always reach out to each other as their first choice for an adventure partner.
Bridesmaid
Shannon and Maddie met in graduate school at GWU during a group project studying a psychopathic teenage shooter...normal, right? Maddie thought Shannon was too cool to be her friend, but was thankfully wrong! This friendship really began after the project through their mutual friend, Lacey. Although Lacey brought them together (turns out Maddie was cool enough) these two have developed a fun loving and strong friendship all their own. Despite Shannon’s cool demeanor, Maddie has had many opportunities to break her out of her shell and enjoy her comical(&embarrassing) moments. Shannon instilled her love for shopping, cosmetics and self-care in Maddie and helped her embrace her inner girly-ness. Shannon is a vital friendship in Maddie’s life and she couldn’t imagine her wedding without her!
Groomsman
Austin and Elliot met prior to Elliot working at DealerTrack, but their friendship really strengthened once Elliot had started there. When Elliot moved out of his parents house, Austin was his first choice for a roommate. They spent many nights staying up way too late, and only remember a few.
Bridesmaid
Basically sisters, Jessica and Maddie’s natural connection was fostered by the lifelong friendship of Jessica’s mom and Maddie’s dad. These two have never been able to stay out of trouble when they are together from the time Jessica was able to walk, and that will probably never change. Jessica has been a constant, strong friendship in Maddie’s life that has only grown stronger with age. Despite having not lived in the same state since they were children, Jessica and Maddie have maintained an amazing friendship where they get to see each other at least once a year or so and have been there for one another through the hardest times. In 2019, Maddie had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of Jessica’s bridal party when she married the love of her life, Jonathan. Now it’s Jessica’s turn!

Lexy and Maddie became quick friends when Lexy started dating one of Maddie and Elliot's best friends, Ian. Lexy is a fiercely kind and loyal friend, one of her awesome qualities that Maddie admired right away. They instantly bonded over their similar senses of humor, love of all things cute and tiny, candles, and crafting. Lexy and Ian are now happily married and Lexy has become just as close to Maddie and Elliot as Ian is. Lexy and Maddie enjoy doing anything from bumming out and playing games with the boys, to venting and chatting for hours, to going out on girls nights to El Chihuahua and getting enormous fish bowl drinks; there is never a dull moment between these two. Maddie feels extremely lucky that Lexy came into her life and is so thankful for their ever growing friendship.

Jake & Maddie became friends their freshman year in college at the University of Utah where they bonded over their love of the mountains and being the responsible friends. When they first met it was difficult for Jake to adjust his fierce gentlemanly instinct and accept Maddie's fierce independent nature and not carry her snowboard for her. Despite a major roadblock interfering with their friendship for a few years, Jake and Maddie have been lucky enough to defy the odds and maintain a relationship for 9+ years. Jake and Maddie love to get coffee together, go on hikes, and have doggy playdates. Maddie was so happy when her and Jake were able to reunite their friendship after a hiatus, and appreciates Jake for his unconditional, non-judgmental listening ear.
