When I moved to Pueblo, my Aunt Suzanne kept telling me that her friend, Patsy, had a son that I should meet and go golfing with. A month or so later, I went to the Pueblo State Fair with my grandpa. He couldn’t see very well so he decided to leave. I wanted to stay, so luckily my Aunt Renee was there hanging out with some friends and she agreed to give me a ride home later. One of those friends happened to be Patsy Cresswell, Dylan’s mom! I hung out with them for a while and eventually ended up meeting Dylan in the beer garden. I eventually put two and two together and realized this is the same Dylan my Aunt Suzanne wanted me to meet earlier in the summer. We shared a few dances and discussed our love of golf. We exchanged numbers and planned a date to go golfing the next week. We’ve been inseparable ever since! Long story short, we like to tell people we met because I got ditched by my grandpa at the rodeo!

Dylan proposed to me in front of our families the day before Easter. I’ve learned since then that he had planned to propose on Easter, but when my cousin Shawn brought his drone over, Dylan threw plans together and proposed to me that day. He wanted to get it on video, and what a better time to do it than surrounded by our loved ones. It was a beautiful day!
