If you are a home gardener or just like flowers, it's your lucky day! The Newport flower show runs from June 21-23, 2024. Tickets are required and can be purchased at: https://www.newportmansions.org/events/the-newport-flower-show-at-home/.

The Newport Flower Show at Rosecliff

If you've never been to Newport, we recommend the cliff walk. It's a nice walk right along the water where you can admire several of the Newport mansions. Tours of some of the mansions are also available.

The Cliff Walk

Pedal the rails that track along the coastal tip of Aquidneck Island, which encompasses Portsmouth, Middletown, and Newport. Children are welcome to ride so long as they are accompanied by an adult. Booking ahead is strongly recommended!

Rail Explorers

Newport is known for sailing and the options are endless. Be sure to spend some time walking around Newport Harbor, too!

Sail Newport Harbor

Visit one of Rhode Island's beaches. Easton's beach (First Beach) and Sachuest beach (Second Beach) are both publicly accessible with parking, though parking is likely to fill up fast.
