we're getting married!

We somehow shockingly didn't meet earlier than this. We were both attending UW-Madison, we both had a deep love of disney movies and One Direction, and we even shared many friends. However, it wasn't until the beginning of the second semester of our sophomore year that we would formally meet. Two of our friends were turning 20 so naturally threw a 1920s themed dress up birthday party. Dat had been liking a lot of Madi's instagram photos lately so she figured that they were likely going to have a chance to talk to each other for the first time at the party. On January 24th, 2015, they spent the entire time talking about music, movies, and anything else under the sun. Dat must have known immediately the way to Madi's heart because that night after they exchanged numbers he sent her a lone gif of Zac Efron from High School Musical 2 with no explanation. They immediately became best friends with the lingering feeling that they would eventually become more. After two years, a semester abroad, a few other boyfriends and girlfriends, they finally made their way back together to where they were supposed to be. Their first REAL date was to Bonfyre in Madison and they never stopped dating.

January 24th, 2015 -- we first met December 3rd, 2016 -- our first date February 4th, 2017 -- the first "i love you" May 31st, 2020 -- moved in together June 26th, 2020 -- found out we were pregnant (surprise!) August 3rd, 2020 -- welcomed our first daughter, Penelope June 26th, 2021 -- engaged November 19th, 2022 -- married November 20th, 2022 - forever -- everything else
