Airports
We recommend flying into Denver International Airport, which is located approximately 2 hours from Vail. You may also consider flying into Eagle County Regional Airport, which is located 30 miles from Vail and offers full-service transportation to/from the airport. If you choose to fly into Eagle, we recommend reserving a cab in advance through High Mountain Taxi (970-524-5555) or Ride Taxi Vail (970-949-1111) for a ride to Vail.

Vail is made up of two villages: Lionshead Village and Vail Village. Both villages are very close, pedestrian friendly, and easy to travel between via free Vail Resort shuttle buses that run all day. There are a number of lodging options in Vail, including hotels, condos, and Airbnbs. We highly recommend our guests make lodging reservations in either Vail Village or Lionshead Village.
