Maid of Honor
Cassie is Madison’s younger sister. Growing up as military kids was not an easy feat. The two endured multiple moves and deployments at young ages. Madison and Catherine learned how lucky they were to have each other during these times. Despite the typical sibling arguments, the two are each other's biggest supporters. Catherine has been a huge help with wedding planning and there’s no one else Madison would rather have by her side on her big day.
Bridesmaid
Olivia and Madison met while attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Although they did not meet until junior year, the two became the best of friends. From football games, nights out, deep conversations and supporting each other through tough times, there are countless memories between them. Olivia is the kind of friend everyone needs. She will do anything to help someone out and Madison is honored to have her as a bridesmaid.
Bridesmaid
Sloan and Madison met in the Masters of Social Work program at Salisbury University. After a few weeks the two became good friends and were practically inseparable. If one was without the other, professors and classmates would often ask if something had happened. Madison could not have gotten through grad school without Sloan by her side. Sloan is truly a caring person who loves to be there for her friends. Madison is honored to have Sloan as a bridesmaid.
Best Man
Dan and Reid met their freshman year at Ursinus. While at the time, Dan was known in-part for his brooding introversion, Reid always knew how to bring out Dan’s spirited nature. From doing donuts over bear camp, to discussing the lyrical genius of an Alec Benjamin song, to running trails, Reid is one of Dan’s closest friends, and a true “Brother Bear.” Dan would like you to know the world is a brighter place to live because of men like Reid. Dan is honored to have Reid as his Best man.
Officiant
Dan’s family lived in California during his college years; this left him 3,000 miles away on some holiday breaks. Dan still cherishes his memory of going off-roading his freshman year with Colin, or getting saved from the Providence Town Center Panera in December by Colin, on two such holiday breaks. Since the inception of their friendship, Colin has played the roles of teammate, captain, mentor, quasi big brother, and role model. Dan would like you to know that the world is a more caring place because of men like Colin. Dan and Madison are honored to have him officiate their ceremony.
Groomsman
Dan grew up always wanting a brother. He had no idea that when he teased his sister about her new boyfriend “Ryan,” that he was getting what he always wanted. Dan has always appreciated the calm, witty humor and presence Robert brings wherever he goes. Even more, he loves how Robert brings out the best in his sister, Madeline. He aims to emulate Robert’s care and devotion in his own marriage with Madison. Dan would like you to know that the world is a more secure world thanks to men like Robert.
Groomsman
When Dan first met Devin, he was intimidated by his focus, attention to detail, and drive. Over the course of their tour together onboard the John F. Kennedy (CVN 79), Dan came to deeply admire these traits, and rely on them on the harder days in Newport News. Dan is always quick to say that most of what he knows about being a “blue side” Corpsman, medical provider, Sailor, and mentor, he owes to Devin. Outside of work, Devin ignited Dan’s passion for tabletop gaming, which if anyone asks Madison, burns brightly even into the early morning hours. Dan would like you to know that the world still turns because of men like Devin.
