We met at a wedding! Yes, you heard that right - just two singles with no plus ones showing up to a wedding alone. Little did we know years later we'd be planning our own! Maybe it was love at first sight, maybe it was the Hennessy and lemonade, but we hit it off! We laughed, we danced and we even continued the night on at the local bars afterwards. We eventually said our goodbyes and exchanged numbers. Madison went to the hotel with her sorority sisters and Collin waited with Avery for an Uber. Who would've thought fate would bring us together again so quickly? It was a Sunday in Napa and Ubers were few and far between. Collin texted Madison of his troubles and she saved the day. She dropped off her girls, stayed in the car and made the Uber driver go find Collin. Madison to the rescue! The next morning she even drove his friends to the airport. Following the wedding we stayed in touch here and there but nothing serious. Years later Collin reconnected sending Madison a picture of them dancing at the wedding. We continued to talk more and more frequently adding Facetime to the mix. Eventually Collin made a move and sent Madison some Greensboro Grasshoppers gear for her birthday. That was it -- come Summer she had to go visit and she did! And well, you know how it turned out! On March 9, 2024 Collin asked Madison to marry him in Yosemite National Park - a place that quickly became special to them. She said yes and they celebrated with their families there with them! We know our love story is unique. It has been a whirlwind for us too! But we are so excited to start this next chapter together, married.
