It was just regular concert night at the Tumbleweed Dance Hall. We both showed up with our friends ready for a good time with some good music. I was dancing with my friend when him and his buddy pull out the big moves and asked us each to dance. It was an instant connection and we dance for three songs straight. Reluctantly, we went our separate ways only to bump onto each other an hour later looking for my friend before the concert started. He helped me look and we ended up spending the rest of the concert together. Towards the end of the night my friends were ready to go so Cole asked if I wanted to go to dinner or get some coffee and the rest is history!
Cole had been planning for months, getting everyone of our family and friends involved for the first moment of the rest of our lives. He told me that a friend of his that worked for the Dodgers in Oklahoma City said we could come have a date night on the field and I was over the moon. Turns out, he had rented the stadium for what would be the best night of our lives to date. We got our favorite pizza and a bottle of wine, and since it was raining our date started in the dug out. After many attempts to try to get out from the dugout the rain finally stopped. He asked me to walk out to the mound check out the score board. After that he walked up behind me, got on one knee and I SAID YES!
