Everything will be at the same location so no need to worry about moving from one location to the next. The venue is Willow Creek in Waxahachie, Texas.
You are welcome to come a little early, but please plan to be seated in the ceremony space by 4:00 PM as that is when the ceremony and procession will begin!
The dress code is Sunday best!
The registry is actually available right here on this website! Just check the website’s menu and click on ‘Registry’. And thank you so much! 💜
No, there will not be alcohol at the ceremony or reception.
Absolutely!! The little ones are absolutely welcome to the wedding. Please make sure that if they need something to keep themselves occupied during the ceremony that you bring something with you for them.
Madison has been told she is not allowed to bake the cake herself so we are looking to find a bakery that is absolutely delicious!!
She is trying to convince Chris to let her bake some treats ahead of time.
Madi & Chris practice Druidry. Because of this, Madison has requested a Druid ceremony where the couple will write their own vows.
No! The second ceremony is for those who would like to attend. For those who do not wish to attend the druid ceremony, you are welcome to stay in the reception hall and enjoy food, music, and activities. We will have a Christian ceremony at the beginning of our events for everyone to attend. The Druid ceremony is only for those who are comfortable attending.
Both Chris and Madi were raised in Christianity and feel that a Christian ceremony is important as well. We also understand that there are some people that are not a comfortable with Druidry.
Well, we chose this day for several reasons. It is on a slower day of the weeks for salon workers and some of Madi’s friends work in the cosmetology industry. We also chose a day that would be after the school year ends for most students and teachers that way our friends working in education or those with kids are able to attend more freely. And as a bonus it will be 2 years to the day of our engagement! (Plus Madi’s lucky number is 11!)
