2:00 pm
Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators.
Let me reiterate... PASSPORT OR BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND STATE ISSUE ID REQUIRED!! The ceremony is on the border of North Dakota and Canada. When the ceremony is over and you’re leaving the garden, you will be stopped at the border patrol checkpoint. You’re welcome to explore for a bit right after the ceremony, before making your way to the reception/social hour. :) Feel free to bring a change of clothes for the reception, it’ll be much more casual than the ceremony. There will be bathrooms around if you decide to change.
2:45 pm - 9:00 pm
Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
The schedule for the ceremony at the peace gardens is locked into contract, so it will definitely start at 2. However, the schedule for the reception is more flexible. There will be a social hour (probably a bit longer than an hour) where there will be chips, queso, guacamole, a variety of salsas, fruit, etc. Social hour for the bridal party will be the time for pictures at the peace gardens, post ceremony. Once the bridal party arrives, dinner will be served shortly after. Dinner is a street taco bar - semi-authentic - no ground beef to be found here. We hope y’all like Mexican food and booze. We are very much looking forward to spending this day with everyone!
