We're getting married!

Madison and Carter first met through mutual friends — Megan (volleyball teammate) and Griffin (baseball teammate)— who decided to set them up one night while out with friends. Madison always thought Carter was handsome, so was excited to finally have the chance to talk to him! Megan and Griffin thought they would be a great match, and they were right. Their first date the following week at Red Seven in Lafayette, Indiana, sparked a connection that would grow stronger with time. As Madison pursued her professional volleyball career and Carter pursued college baseball, their relationship developed amidst the chaos of busy schedules and long-distance. Even miles apart, they nurtured their bond through visits, calls, and unwavering support for each other. The proposal was thoughtfully planned and full of surprises. Carter took Madison to County Line Orchard to distract her from the real plan. Later, he told her they were heading to dinner at The Lighthouse in Cedar Lake with friends, but first stopped at a family friend’s barn “to pick something up.” Outside the barn, surrounded by flowers and beautiful decor, Carter asked Madison to marry him. Their immediate families appeared to celebrate the moment, followed by an engagement party in the barn filled with loved ones. After two wonderful years together, Madison and Carter are excited to begin their next chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by family, friends, and the same love that brought them together.
