February of 2025, Madison was at Sephora in North Park Mall when she ran into a childhood friend that she hadn't seen in years. They caught up for a bit, but never talked about her love life or any details of that nature. About a month later, Madison got a text from this friend (shout out to Maddie Mack!) asking if she would be interested in going on a blind date. Maddie didn't tell her anything about this guy, didn't tell her Bryson's name, and didn't send her a picture, so it was truly blind. About a week later, Madison heard from this guy named Bryson Byrd. He asked her on a first date, but the date wasn't going to be for another week and a half, so he told Madison she'd hear from him closer to the date. About a week later, he texted her and asked if she could give him a call after work. Madison called him and he explained that he was in Utah and coming back the next evening, and in typical Bryson fashion, he explained that he was now taking a super last minute trip to Guatemala the morning of their first date? Madison was naturally annoyed and off put by this, but he quickly offered to go to breakfast instead because he was looking forward to their first date and had already made a commitment. Because of the nature of their first date and how crazy it was, she thought it would be funny to offer to take him to the airport. So, they met for breakfast at SEVEN AM (shoutout to Tiz for driving Bryson to the restaurant) for a BLIND, FIRST date. After the date, Madison drove him to the airport and impressed him with her driving skills (jokes!!!). The rest is literally history!!
