Brantley and I met through words before we met face to face. Online dating is probably both the weirdest and most wonderful thing I have done. And it is a lot less rigid than some may think. You never open an app and think you are going to swipe right on your future husband. But from the moment we matched, my world changed. And I think Brantley and I saw each other everyday after that. I’ve been caught on many occasions saying that Brantley is everything I never knew I wanted, but absolutely everything I ever needed. On our third date he didn’t ask me to be his girlfriend, but instead told me I was. While that would NEVER have flied with anyone else, I knew that Brantley was different. We fell in love so quickly and easily. I use to roll my eyes at those “love at first sight/when you know you know” type of people. But here I am! We got engaged on our one year anniversary, one year to the day of our first date. Which should be noted, was an invitation to decorate Brantley’s Christmas tree. An offer so sweet I couldn’t pass up. And one that also meant Brantley had to un-decorate his already decorated tree! He proposed in New York City, in my favorite place in the world: in front of my favorite painting, Starry Night. He fills me everyday with the love I get from looking at that painting.
I met the love of my life on a dating website, something I thought would never happen but I’m sure glad it did! This dating website allows you to “like” as much as you want but you’re also allowed to SUPER like someone one time only, I used that super like on Madison in hopes of her noticing me AND IT WORKED! 🤗 The first time me and Madison met it felt as if we had known each other for years so you can imagine that now 2 years feels like centuries, our conversations were flawless and easy and flowed without having to think of what to say, I felt secure and loved and trusted her with my life. One day me and Madison were driving and I didnt ask I told her “Hey your my girlfriend now” she was like uhh well 🤔 ok” And our relastionship took off like a rocket from that point and we are still loving each other everyday like the day we met! I never thought in a million years that I would be getting married and eventually starting a family! My outlook on my future for the longest was being a 40 year old bachelor, so my friends thought it was a joke and were shocked when I first told them I was looking at wedding rings. Wedding rings which I tried to buy for madison after a few months only to be told I’m not allowed to propose until at least a year 😪 but I wouldnt give up what I have now for any other life. What I have now is the epitamy of a fairy tale relastionship and I love it!
