We would recommend staying at the Carmel Mission Inn, but we do have a few other options available. Please contact us for more options (A-frames on Big Sur Campgrounds, Glenn Oaks Hotel, etc) if you are concerned about the distance between Carmel Mission Inn.
We are providing shuttle services to and from Carmel or to wherever you may be staying from 2 hours before the start of the wedding and then back to Carmel starting 2 hours after the ceremony. If you are not staying at Carmel Mission Inn, please let us know so we can coordinate your pick up and drop off.
Unfortunately, the venue is limited in parking space which we must reserve for our vendors, so we cannot allow anyone to drive to the venue. We are providing free shuttling to and from the venue.
Depending on the traffic, the drive is 45 minutes to an hour.
The easiest and cheapest is SFO (San Francisco International Airport). From there we recommend renting a car to get to Carmel-by-the-Sea.
