We met the summer going into our Sophomore year at Hope College. Throughout the following months we often times found ourselves hangout with our mutual friends. :)

Our story starts when Madison was studying aboard in Dublin, Ireland and Andrew was studying at Hope College. During this time we became a lot closer and grew in our friendship.

As soon as Madison returned from Ireland, we went on our first date in the beginning of January. We started dating a few days later and the rest is history!

One Thursday night in December, we planned to have dinner in downtown Saugatuck. Before heading to the restaurant, we stopped at a cozy bar for a drink—little did I know, Andrew had something even more special planned. In the most intimate and heartfelt moment, he got down on one knee and popped the question! It was a night we’ll never forget.
