And together they built a life they love

Right before the pandemic took off, they went on their first date to Cracker Barrel. Before they were even seated, Madison told Andrew about her love for the cheesy hash brown casserole. When Andrew ordered a side of the beloved potatoes, Madison thought for sure, she had persuaded him to get some. After cleaning her plate he slid his potatoes across the table and said, "I thought you might want these" he was right, she ate every bite. She knew he was the one by the end of the date. Even told her roommate Brianne, "I think he might be my person."

After a long Monday, Andrew suggested a boat ride to watch the sunset, (something we did frequently) so Madison thought nothing of it. While wearing leggings and one of Andrew's t-shirts they went out to the boat to relax a little together. After spending some time listening to music and dancing around, Andrew pulled Madison to the front of the boat and got down on one knee. In a moment shared only between them and God, he professed his love and asked her to stand by his side for the rest of their lives. Of course she was excited and said yes! Before putting the ring on, Madison was kissing him and had them both weak in their knees. Andrew quickly said, "Please put this on, we are in open water."
