Question

Why get married in Lancaster, PA?

Answer

Since they started dating, Andrew and Madison (along with Madison's parents) have made it a yearly tradition to visit Lancaster and every time, Madison wants to stay and become Amish. The farms, food, and people are so welcoming and wholesome it is inspiring. Plus, Madison and Andrew wanted a destination wedding, but did not want the destination to be too far that family and friends would not be willing to travel the distance. This way, we can have our destination and still celebrate with family and friends.

Question

Why is your wedding registry so small?

Answer

Andrew and Madison have been living together in their home since December 2018. All the regular registry items have been acquired by the couple at this time, however, the items in the registry will serve as upgrades to what we currently have and there are still some things that have not been obtained since moving in. Andrew and Madison are trying to keep the "stuff" to a minimum and their time spent together making memories is at the forefront.

Question

Where should we stay in Lancaster?

Answer

The Eden Resort & Suites is the only hotel with a room block. There are plenty of places to stay in Lancaster all within a short distance to the wedding venue. Madison's family has stayed at The Eden personally and it is a very nice and clean resort with an indoor pool. Andrew's family usually stays at La Quinta when they travel to Lancaster. Recently, Madison and her mother stayed at an Airbnb and had a wonderful experience. The options are endless.

Question

Why 11-11-22 for a wedding date?

Answer

Madison is a "numbers person" and enjoys the pattern/repetition of the same numbers in order. Want to get even more weird? 11 (month) + 11 (day) = 22 (year). See, definitely a numbers person! Andrew is OCD and likes patterns/repetitions as well so he is just as happy with the date. Also, November 11, 2022 is Veteran's Day. Andrew himself is an Army Veteran (Thank You For Your Service!) and Madison has a lot of Veteran Relatives so it seemed fitting. Also! Numbers in repetition are also known as Angel Numbers. Both Madison and Andrew have very special Angels that will be joining us for our big day from Heaven. Angel Number 1111 "is an alert from the angelic energies that you are supported by forces you cannot see" (via Google) and Angel Number 22 "is your angel's way of telling you that you're on the right track and your dreams are about to become a reality" (via Google).
