We met during the summer of 2017 while working at Billy's Oyster Bar together. He was a food runner and I was a server. He says that when I first saw him in the kitchen that the second sentence out of my mouth (after introducing myself) was "do you have a girlfriend" although I don't necessarily remember that. 😂 Later I found out that he was only 17 while I was then 19 so I made it very clear that we could only be friends. We soon began hanging out at the beach most days before work and became very close friends. EVERYONE thought that we were dating that we worked with even though we weren't. We both did have crushes on each other though and clearly didn't hide it very well from anyone but ourselves. I remember him pulling up to work one day when my friend Jana was inside of the restaurant and her saying "Madison just date him!! He looks like a little Hawaiian boy!". I probably should've listened but instead after the summer ended we went our separate ways and talked every once in a while. Fast forward 3 years and here we are! We took the chance and dove in head first and never looked back! Anyone who's really been around us together can tell how we feel about each other. We have the perfect little family with us and Preston. We can't wait to make it offical. ❤️
