We had our first date on a beautiful spring night at Mission Tacos in Washington, DC. We talked about everything under the sun; testimonies, family, what is and what isn't important in life. It wasn't long before we we're finding every excuse to see each other.

Every month, Aaron and I dedicate one evening to a pulse check. This particular evening was Wednesday, June 4th, Aaron's 26th birthday. Aaron offered the idea of a picnic on the National Mall. This place was special. Just over a year prior, in that same spot, Aaron had asked me to be his girlfriend. We ate, recapped the crazy month we'd just had, talked about our future and then it came, the big question...and of course the easiest YES of my life!

We are so incredibly excited to be getting married at Duke Chapel. Taken aback by its breathtaking beauty, timeless architecture, and peaceful presence, when we realized the Chapel was an option we couldn't say no. It feels so special to begin our marriage in a place filled with such history and meaning, surrounded by the grandeur of the stained glass and stonework. We truly can’t wait to stand at the altar and celebrate our commitment to one another with our dearest friends and family.
