What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Garden Party-Formal! We'd love for our guests to join us in garden-party formal attire-think elegant but outdoor-friendly. We'd also love for guests to wear our color scheme! Think blues, light greens, lavender, and teal! Ladies: Midi or maxi dresses or a dressy jumpsuits, floral or fun prints welcome! Wedges or block heels recommended. What is the address of the wedding ceremony and reception venue?

Answer

Our venue's address is 3220 Botanic Garden Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76107. Ceremony is in the Lower Rose Garden and reception will be held at the Shelter House. Parking will be available in West Entrance Parking lot for our guests.

Parking & Getting to Ceremony Site

Answer

Parking will be located at our special events parking lot which is closest to your venue "Lot D." The address for this parking lot is 3408 W Freeway Fort Worth, TX 76107. It is the second right turn off of the access road before you make it to the Montgomery Street Antique Mall and we will have a security officer stationed in the parking lot with your cars for the duration of the event. Your guests will see the yellow sign first and then the green “West Entrance” right at the gate. Lot D to the Lower Rose Garden is a 5–8-minute walk. Walking directions from Lot D to the Lower Rose Garden are as follows: From parking Lot D please follow the path East towards the Horseshoe Garden. Still walking East, walk through the Horseshoe Garden towards the Shelter House. The Lower Rose Garden is located at the Bottom of the Shelter House. The shelter house is located above the Lower Rose Garden, up the stairs.

Uber/Lyft Dropoff

Answer

If guests take a rideshare option please have them put in the address to lot D - 3408 W Freeway Fort Worth, TX 76107. (Entrance off of the Access Road/Immediately before/ next to the antique mall). If guests get dropped off at the front of the garden by rideshare - We do offer a Beauty Bus shuttle from 9:00am – 5:30pm daily, but the guests will have to get picked up by Rideshare in Lot D at the end of the evening. There will not be any circumstance that they will be able to get a ride from a garden employee at end of the event to the front of the garden. Please note, this shuttle is first come first serve and runs on about a 15–20 minute loop. The shuttle picks up in front of the Garden Center and will drop off right at East gate of the Japanese Garden (first stop the bus makes). Again, this shuttle is for all garden guests so please plan accordingly.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors in the garden following an outside reception with some coverage under a pavilion. Guests will walk to the garden on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass in the reception area. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

DFW, Dallas Fort Worth International is the closet airport.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our celebration will be an adults-only evening. We appreciate your understanding.
