How our story began

Distance tested us...Love kept us...Forever found us

Joshua and I met through Instagram when he had just gotten home from a weekend in Amsterdam with his friends. He had made a post that contained different photos of his weekend away. Although we weren't aware of each other's existence, we had many mutual friends. This caused his post to appear on my feed under "people you may know". I happened to stumble upon his post where I liked it, and kept scrolling. Meanwhile, Joshua had just finished unpacking from his weekend get-away and was settling down for the night. Before closing his eyes for sleep, he looked at his post to see if there were any comments, which is when he first saw my name. Unbeknownst to him, my account was private so he had to request to even view my profile. This is when I received a notification that Joshua Miller had requested to follow me. Little did I know, that name would become my last. God spoke to Joshua that night or as Joshua would put it "a little voice in the back of my head told me to message you, I now know it had to of been God". After DM-ing me and us talking for a few days, we decided to face-time and that was when our story began. We didn't go a day without talking on the phone or face-timing. The 7-hour time difference didn't make it easy. After 2 months of talking through a screen, I decided I had to see him in person. I flew 5,000 miles, over-seas, to the country of Germany, to meet Joshua Miller for the first time in the Munich International Airport. We spent a couple days in Berlin where Joshua asked me to be his girlfriend in front of the Brandenburg Gate. Then we visited the Christmas markets in Nuremberg and ventured down to a near-by bridge where we attached a lock to a designated railing called, Weltherz fur Liebesschlosser translated to "World Heart for Love Locks" and threw the key into the water. This is where we decided that we would remain, "Locked for Life".
