Cameron and I met in the spring of 2018. He was a sophomore at Mississippi State, and I was a junior. We both have a strong entrepreneurial streak in us and had started businesses through the MSU Center for Entrepreneurship and Outreach. I thought he was pretty cute and really funny, and I started to have a crush by April 2018. As the summer began, Cameron moved his business to Seaside, FL, and I moved back home. We did not talk very much...just a snapchat here and there or an urgent phone call from Cameron to discuss what type of coffee pot to buy. I was really excited to get back to school in August to see him in the E-Center again. As the fall semester started, it was clear that Cameron and I were becoming more than friends. We ate lunch in the E-Center almost everyday, and we often found ourselves getting distracted from work to just talk. We even got asked if we were on a date in the E-Center one time. I considered him one of my best friends but was really open to exploring more. In the meantime, some of Cameron's friends started pointing out to him that I was the only girl who laughed at his jokes...and they were right! One Sunday evening after a long weekend, Cameron came over to my house while I was roasting coffee on my front porch. There he opened up and told me how he felt about me. He was honest and raw about his feelings, but he was also so honest about his need to further his relationship with Christ. With that, we decided that we would begin exploring this more and try to see what God had for us. Cameron was very intentional with me and made an effort to truly pursue me. We may have jumped the gun on the Lord's will though because three weeks later he asked me on a date. Our first date was on October 18th, 2018, and we have never looked back. In March 2019, he told me that he loved me, and I quickly said it back. Since we have started dating, we have tried our best to follow the Lord's will for our life... So here we are... - Madison
