Question

When should I arrive in Montana?

Answer

We recommend arriving by Saturday, July 11 to settle in and join us for pizza the following night! The wedding is on Monday, July 13, and there’s plenty to explore in and around Whitefish before and after.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve reserved an Airbnb for some guests, and there are several hotels, lodges, and Airbnbs nearby in Whitefish and Kalispell. Check out our “Travel & Accommodations” page for suggestions!

Question

What is the weather like in July?

Answer

July in Montana is warm and sunny with cool evenings. Expect daytime highs in the mid 70s to low 80s°F and nighttime lows in the 40s–50s°F. Bring layers — mountain weather can change quickly!

Question

What should I wear for the wedding?

Answer

Think casual country wedding vibes — boots, jeans, sundresses, or whatever makes you feel good and ready to celebrate! The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so we recommend comfortable shoes for dancing and walking on grass. Dress it up or down — just be yourself!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will be outdoors at our Airbnb along the river!

Question

What’s for dinner?

Answer

We’re keeping it fun and low-key. Let us know if you have any dietary restrictions on the RSVP page!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a mix of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks for the reception. You're welcome to bring something you'd like to share too.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your Presence is the Only Present We Need We are so excited to celebrate this special day with all of our favorite people. Your love and support mean the world to us, and we truly aren't expecting any gifts. If you feel compelled to give, we kindly ask that you consider contributing to our future home fund as we begin this next chapter together. But most of all, we're just so grateful to have you by our side on our big day!

Question

Will there be transportation to the venue?

Answer

The wedding is at a private Airbnb, and parking will be available. If you’re flying in or not renting a car, let us know and we’ll help coordinate rides!

Question

What else is there to do in the area?

Answer

So much! From hiking in Glacier National Park, to fly fishing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, or sipping local brews — check out our "Things to Do" page for our top picks.

Question

Travel Tips

Answer

✈️ Flying In The closest airport is Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) in Kalispell, just 15–30 minutes from Whitefish. It’s small, easy to navigate, and served by major airlines like Delta, Alaska, United, and American. 🚗 Car Rentals We recommend renting a car if you're flying in — Montana is all about the scenic drives! Book early, especially in July. 🧭 Driving Distances FCA Airport → Whitefish: ~20 minutes FCA Airport → Glacier National Park: ~30–45 minutes 🏨 Where to Stay There are lots of cozy places to stay in Whitefish, Kalispell, and near Glacier National Park. Hotels, Airbnbs, and cabins fill up fast in the summer, so we recommend booking early! 🕐 Time Zone Montana is in Mountain Time (MT). Keep that in mind if you’re flying from another zone — we’d hate for anyone to miss the pizza or the celebration. 📱 Cell Service & Wi-Fi Cell service can be spotty in the mountains, and some areas near Glacier have limited Wi-Fi. Download maps, playlists, or directions ahead of time just in case!
