We are so excited to celebrate with you!!

We first met at Wartburg College while working together in the Admissions Office. We spent hours and hours sitting side by side writing postcards to future Knights while talking and becoming best friends. :') From there, our relationship grew and our friend groups also became closer and closer! Dating not only gave us each other as best friends, but it also brought us to the absolute best group of college friends as well (see our bridal party page to get to know them + others!) Over the past six years together, we have travelled across the country, gone on various service trips, vacations, adventures, lived in Colorado, made the best memories with our friends and families, and got our golden retriever, Briggs to add to our little fam with our cat, Zesty! But, no matter where we have gone, one of our favorite places in the world has and always will be the Hinegardner family lake. This is where we first drifted around in a boat fishing and talking (dreaming) about our life together all those years ago and have since made so many memories with both of our families and friends inviting them out for boating each year. This is why it is so special for us to say our "I do's" in this place with all of you! We are SO excited to bring you all out to our favorite place, one that is so sentimental to us and our families, and celebrate!!

The Hinegardner Family lake was originally built by Madisen's great-grandpa, Arlo, with a horse and a plow in 1939. Over the years, the Hinegardner family have built their homes and businesses here and raised their families. Madisen's parents, Todd + Jodi even got married here as well 26 years ago! It is such a special place to the Hinegardner family— our home, life, and favorite place. The Hinegardner's can't wait to have you here and get to share a little piece with you.

As we have outlined the venue, we want to give you a heads up on what to expect with the logistics of our day! The ceremony + reception will be held outside (weather permitting) // - We understand (and expect) it may be pretty warm out in August. We ask that you come with a positive outlook and we will provide good, cold drinks and a great time! :) We will be having additional transportation to and from the exact ceremony site // - To get to our ceremony location from the main Pilgrim Heights Event Center we will be transporting you the short distance to the ceremony site. Be ready for a fun adventure to start the event! :)
