The Wedding Website of Madinah Corpuz and Lars Alexander Hult
Recommendations for our out-of-towner guests. Lars Alexander and Madinah are staying in Taal Vista Hotel.

Flight

Ninoy Aquino International Airport

The airport is about 65.5 km from the venue. For time-efficiency and door-to-door convenience, we recommend to book private transfers or direct shuttles to Tagaytay, which takes about 2.5 hours on average with moderate traffic. GrabCar will cost around 3,000 Php and is definitely worth it.

Hotel

Taal Vista Hotel

Kilometer 60 Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Tagaytay City, Calabarzon 4120, Philippines

This is where we'll be having everything, from ceremony to welcome drinks to reception. We recommend that you book a night (or two) for ease and comfort. Don't forget to use the discount code when booking. Taal Vista - Shuttle Service

Taal Vista has a vendor for private shuttle service. Please contact Mr. Fahad Gumama directly at +639360421354 to organize. You can download "Viber" app and chat there for free. We would recommend going by groups so the cost will not be as high. Cost estimate one way from BGC to Tagaytay is around 7,500 Php.

House Or Rental

Airbnb

There are lots of airbnb's to choose from around the neighborhood. So this option is also a win.

Travel Note

ETravel Registration

When traveling to the Philippines, you need to have this ready to present to the counter when you check in for your flight. It's free and very easy, you can just download the QR code onto your phone and show it to them. Registration is within 72 hours before travel!

Travel Note

Airalo eSIM or Philippine sim card

Airalo eSIM: For those travelling from Norway, you can consider registering for eSIM (Airalo or the likes), which offers convenient, affordable data access for travelers without needing physical SIM cards. They're ideal for international trips, especially given your iPhone use and potential googling and navigating needs. Philippine sim card: Alternative is buying a physical sim card. When you arrive at the airport, buy a GLOBE sim card with credit so you can easily make calls and SMS while in Manila. A sim card should typically cost 60 PHP, just fill it up with credit and ask the nice ladies at the counter for unlimited call and text (and probably some internet). This should typically cost 2000 PHP.

Travel Note

Grab app

Grab is a car app that will get you to places much quicker (and much safer). Think UBER! Download the app to your phone and input your credit card details so you don't need to keep paying with cash.

Travel Note

Cash

The Philippines is a bit behind on the times and a lot of places still require cash payments. It would be practical to withdraw some cash right at the airport when you arrive 😊
