Matt and Hannah grew up as neighbors and became friends at 5 years old. They continued their friendship until their teenage years when cooties got in the way. They reconnected in college when Hannah asked Matt to catch up at dinner (and then brought her friends with her because she was too nervous). They continued talking until Matt officially asked Hannah on their first date and they haven't stopped talking since.

Hannah and Matt bought their house in Eaton Rapids in 2022 and were excited to share and build their 3 acre farm together. One of the gems of the house is a rare Chestnut tree grove. Matt strung lights among the trees and then surprised Hannah with a proposal. She said yes!!
