The Wedding Website of Madison Smith and Tyler Johnston
Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park

MT

We highly recommend visiting Glacier National Park if you have not been! Driving the Going-to-the-Sun Road will give you a beautiful view of the park with plenty of scenic pull off points. Lake McDonald is one of our favorite stops. We always make sure to stop on our way in and out of the park. Some of our favorite hikes include: Trail of Cedars (easy) Avalanche Lake (moderate) Hidden Lake Overlook (moderate) Grinnell Glacier Trail (hard) Park passes can be purchased ahead of time on NationalParkService.gov or at the park entrance.

Flathead Lake

Flathead Lake

MT

On our first trip to Montana we took a hike along Flathead Lake and there was no going back after that. Not only are the views incredible, but the lake also supplies lots to do! Parasailing, sunset clear kayak tours, fishing, cherry picking, jet-skiing, boating, the list goes on and on. There are even boat and kayak tours to Wildhorse Island, an island in the center of the lake that is home to wild horses and bighorn sheep. Surrounding lake towns such as Lakeside and Big Fork provide restaurants and scenery as well.

Northwest Montana Fair

Our wedding week is also the week of the Northwest Montana Fair & Rodeo in Kalispell. So if you want to experience a Montana Fair it features three nights of PRCA Rodeo action, outdoor music, down-home exhibits, carnival rides, and great food!
