Conner and Madi's love story began in the spring of 2023. Conner was a recurring customer at Hub 71 Cafe, where Madi frequently waitressed on Saturday mornings. One morning, after a delicious breakfast and some lighthearted teasing from his Dad, Conner approached Madi and asked her on a date. Madi gave him her phone number on a guest check slip, and Conner called her that night. The two set up a date for a few weeks later. On Conner and Madi's first date, both felt a connection immediately. Soon they were spending every weekend together and spent hours talking on the phone between dates. Their relationship was so fun and easy, and it wasn't long before they fell in love. After dinner on a chilly February night, Conner asked Madi to marry him on the land they plan to build their future home on. Madi says it was the easiest yes she's ever said, and Conner would tell you he still has the guest check with Madi's number on it to this day.
