welcome to our wedding!

Mark and Madi technically met the first week of November 2016 at an interest meeting for a new youth worship team. The team never actually got off the ground, but Mark and Madi's friendship did. They became friends over the next few years through church and hangouts. In 2019 there started to be some flirtations from Mark but Madi wasn't feeling it. Then Madi started to take interest, but Mark pulled back. This went back and forth several times over the course of 2019-2021. In 2021 they drove out to Arkansas for a friend's wedding. After they got back home, Madi realized that she might like Mark as more than a friend. She asked him out but he kindly said no, he wasn't interested. Life went on, but in 2023 Mark decided he was an idiot and he did like Madi. He asked her out right before she was about to leave the country for vacation. This, of course, left her in turmoil the whole trip. When she got back into town they decided to just hang out for the month of April and see if they both wanted to pursue a relationship. At the end of the month, Madi was feeling a ton of pressure and felt like she and Mark should just stay friends. As soon as she ended things, she regretted it. A week later they were going on their first official date May 12th, 2023 and were officially together a week later. Throughout their relationship, They have been through a lot of ups and downs. Through personal loss and new experiences, Mark and Madi have become best friends and fallen in love. We are so thankful for our friends and family coming to celebrate us on this special occasion, but we are even more thankful for all the love, prayers, advice, and support we have received from everyone.
