Rachel has known Madi since her mom was pregnant with her. They grew up next door to each other and are the embodiment of "best friends for life". Rachel has known Madi through every embarrassing phase of her life. If you bump into Rachel during the wedding, some fun things to know about her are that she's played softball her whole life, she painted Madi's nails EVERY day before Madi and Marcus were dating so he would talk to her during PE, and she LOVES dogs. Currently Rachel is living in Tennessee and playing Softball for her university, when she graduates she’ll be a teacher!
Jude Suorsa

Jude is one of Madi's younger sisters and if you want to know a good story about Madi and Jude's relationship, ask Jude about the kayak tattoo on her arm. Madi and Jude are in many ways polar opposites, Madi is a morning person, Jude is a night owl, they can never agree on a show to watch, Madi prefers Disneyland while Jude prefers Six Flags, yet they've always been besties. It's unlike them to go more than 24 hours without an hour plus phone call. If you catch Jude at the wedding, she loves all music, dinosaurs, and Jeff Goldblum. Jude also likes horror movies and can talk in-depth about The Green Goblin.
Destiny Fernandez

The first time these two met, Destiny promptly asked Madi for help with her spelling homework, then proceeded to tell her she wasn't doing it correctly. Madi has affectionately called Destiny "kiddo" the 10+ years they've known each other and these two have a lot in common. From Harry Styles's obsessions to always being down for an iced coffee run. Destiny is currently enrolled in college with the goal to become a speech pathologist, loves children, cooking, and always is down to binge-watch the latest popular shows.
McKenna Suorsa

McKenna is one of Madi's sisters, and growing up she and Madi were known as the "bad twins" by Mickey. Together, they would keep poor Michaela up all night by somersaulting over her or causing chaos around the house. McKenna is one of the smartest people Madi knows. She graduated salutatorian from her high school. She then went to the University of California Santa Barbara right next to the ocean and next she wants to start pursuing a Master's in Social Work. If you bump into McKenna at the wedding, she'd love to chat about activism, animal rights, and her family, and she also knows all about Madi's funny childhood stories.
Michaela Suorsa

Michaela is one of the most passionate people Madi has ever known. She cares deeply about things from animal rights to human rights. Growing up Madi, Michaela and Mckenna were inseparable. They could often be found doing crafts, avoiding their girl scout meetings, or playing on their dirt bikes. If you bump into Michaela at the wedding, she lives really close to the beach while attending San Diego State University (how cool!) and has done cool things like bungee jumping, and she enjoys taking photos. She would love to get to know you!
Chloe DuBois

Chloe and Madi met in grad school, they're both therapists and Chloe would love to get to know you ;). As soon as Chloe and Madi met they instantly bonded, and have been inseparable ever since. The two are also very similar, so much so that Marcus described Chloe as "Madi in a different font". Chloe also provided Madi snacks every day of class in grad school, without her Madi would've gone to school starved. If you're looking to chat with Chloe some fun things to know about her are she's a twin, she was a dancer for years, a competitive swimmer, and she lives in Santa Monica !
Mathew Garcia Trevino

Madi and Mat met on her first day at Pasadena City College in a Disney-based English class. They bonded over Starbucks (he always used to order a pumpkin spice and Madi was in her black iced coffee phase) and Mat quickly became one of the besties. Mat has always been the voice of reason when life is chaotic, from when they first met through every challenge since then. If you bump into Mat at the wedding and want to chat, he is a total star wars nerd, LOVES cats, and has been going to raves forever. Mat is also a licensed real estate agent and has his master's degree in history!
Annicia Fernandez

Annicia is always down to order way too much food, buy coffee and watch Twilight all day long. Madi's personal favorite memories with Annicia are the car rides they used to take to church every week where they'd have some of the best conversations about life or get caught up being a little late because someone (Madi) needed a Starbucks. If you want to win Annicia over, talk about clean energy, cryptocurrency, and Ryder. She loves the stars and the planets and would love to tell you where the international space station is right now- just ask her!
Ricardo Garcia
Best Man
Ricky is Marcus’ best friend and the first person that Marcus met when he moved to California. They met while playing wiffle ball in their apartment complex and then proceeded to spend the whole evening trying to convince their parents to let the other stay at their place for the night. Ever since then, the two have grown inseparable and tend to find themselves in some sticky situations. Ricky is one of the best cooks out there and will feed you, as long as you provide enough food for him to feast as well. Ricky is one of those human beings that will be there for you through thick and thin and will never abandon you. He’s become a true brother to the Fernandez gang and more than just a best friend to Marcus.
Joshua Sulecio

When Joshua first met Marcus, they were not fans of one another. Joshua would claim Marcus was annoying while Marcus would claim that Joshua had a stick shoved up his…. (can’t say that word). They met in San Francisco on a leadership retreat where Marcus asked Joshua what he was staring at while in their room and Joshua responded with you Bi….. (can’t say that either). After that moment, the two became inseparable the entire trip and eventually became roommates the following year. Joshua is one of the most energetic people you will ever meet in your life and will make you laugh on any occasion with the hyena laugh that he has. He is very passionate about Disneyland to the point where you’ll be embarrassed to go to Disney with him. His favorite character is stitch and it’s to the point where he has a literal shrine built to him in his bedroom.
Mike Hart

If chaotic was a person, look no further because it's found embodied in Mike Hart. He is truly one of the most insanely energetic but passionate people you will ever meet. Mike and Marcus met their senior year of high school where Marcus dubbed him the nickname Hart due to there being 4 Michael’s in their graduating class. Since then Marcus has adopted Hart as his son. They currently are roommates where they find themselves getting into a lot of mischief around the house and some would say that they throw the best parties. Mike is very passionate about being active whether that means swimming, wrestling, basketball, or his favorite skateboarding.
Mikey Cabral

Mikey is just as chaotic as Hart so when these two are in a room together you better expect mayhem. Mikey and Marcus met in 4th grade and have been friends ever since. Growing up both Mikey and Marcus competed against each other in every sport, trying to assert their alpha dominance. In the end, the competition ended when Mikey tackled Marcus in FLAG FOOTBALL and broke his wrist. To this day they laugh about it, but Mikey always reminds him who was the one to end up on top. Now they are roommates and the competitions still continue. Mikey is passionate about his family and the people around him who he loves. He will protect them all at any cost. He is also a bigger Harry Styles fan than anyone else and when I tell you he will scream his songs louder than anyone around him at the concert, you best believe it.
Reed Manning

Reed Manning is one of the best, genuine human beings you will ever meet. He radiates love to everyone around him but it doesn’t mean that he isn’t one of the biggest goofballs you’ll ever meet. Reed and Marcus met their freshman year where they bonded over reeds fantasy football draft. Reed did not listen to any of Marcus' advice and Reed did not make playoffs that year. Reed is very passionate about Pirates of the Caribbean and if you play the main song, expect Reed to steal some things from your possession. Reed has the cutest dog named Hazel and some would say Marcus travels to Reed's house just to play with the dog. Sadly Reed isn’t perfect because he is a Steelers fan but everyone has their faults in life.
Keegan Leach

Keegan is Andrew's best friend and was the person who introduced Marcus to him. Marcus proceeded to challenge Keegan to a game of 21, where Marcus lost 21-1. But Marcus hit the best shot of the game so really who won? (Marcus did) The two have now become golf and Warzone/Apex partners always looking to get wins on the greens and in their late-night video game sessions. Keegan is someone who radiates love to everyone around him and will make you laugh without even trying. He’s also 5’6 so sadly he has his faults as well. But if you need a golf lesson, go to this guy because he helped me go from shooting 124 to 107 😤
Luke Cardona

Luke is one of the most competitive people you will ever meet and this was very apparent when Marcus and Luke first met. Marcus joined Luke’s ultimate frisbee team where Luke didn’t let him step on the field the whole first game because Luke did not want to lose. Marcus was ready to not return until Luke stayed an hour teaching Marcus the ins and outs of the game and how to play. After that, these two became close friends with Marcus being Luke’s best man at his wedding where some would argue that Marcus gave the best speech of the night. Luke is a full-time photographer and most of you would’ve seen his work as he was the one who took Marcus and Madi's Graduation/Proposal/and Engagement photos. Andrew Rein

Andrew and Marcus met during their freshman year of college while playing flag football against one another. Marcus claimed that Drew wasn’t going to do anything against him while playing, which was correct. Not because Marcus was locking him up, but because after Drew would cook him he would proceed to drop every ball thrown his way. Their 1 on 1 in basketball didn’t go much better as Drew would tend to win most games 11-0, but he did teach Marcus how to be lights out in the corner. Drew and Marcus were roommates for 2 years and Drew has often claimed that Marcus’ snoring was the best thing he’s ever heard. Drew is super passionate about his Bulls, Bears, and Padres and is willing to debate any given day about any given sport.
