Madi and Lan met the classic college way... at a bar. Except, this bar happened to be 5,000 miles from home... in Seville, Spain. Both of them were studying abroad for the semester through Texas Tech University and happened to find an interest in one another. Madi loved Lan's humor and he loved her energy. They bonded through months of travel, deep conversation and of course... bailando en las discotecas.

To celebrate their four-year anniversary, Lan and Madi traveled to one of their favorite cities, New York! They explored for a week and on their last day, there was one last landmark to hit... Grand Central Station. Lan popped the question and of course, Madi said duh! Lan had the ring in his pocket all week and was waiting for the perfect time to ask.
