With a passion for adventure and a commitment to personal growth, James has dedicated much of his life to pursuing excellence and following his dreams. James earned his Eagle Scout rank in 2016, a milestone that reflects his dedication, leadership, and perseverance. Continuing his journey of achievement, he graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2020 with a degree in biomedical science. This academic pursuit was driven by his curiosity and commitment to understanding the intricacies of the human body. Following university, James pursued his passion for aviation at Aeroguard Flight Training Center. He is now a commercial pilot and works as a certified flight instructor at Deer Valley Airport. This role allows him to combine his love for flying with his commitment to teaching and mentoring others. James' love for Madi is the center of his life, and he is incredibly excited to start this new journey with her. Known for his humor and genuine nature, James brings joy and authenticity to every aspect of his life. As he prepares for the wedding, James is eager to celebrate with friends and family, and to begin this exciting new chapter with Madi and Mo (the dog) by his side.

Madi is a Math Teacher at Central High School, where she also coaches the Girls JV Volleyball Bobcats and leads the Rocket League team for the school’s E-sports program. Alongside her career, she is working toward her Master’s degree in education, set to graduate from Arizona State University in May 2025. Madi is known for her kind and hard-working nature, always putting her heart into everything she does. She cares deeply for the people around her, especially her family and friends, and is dedicated to making a positive impact in their lives. Through all of her commitments and goals, James has been a constant source of encouragement and joy in her life. With every deep conversation, laugh and adventure, Madi finds herself loving James even more, grateful for how he lifts her up and shares in all of her dreams and celebrations. She couldn’t imagine a better partner to journey through life with than James.
Jacob Jones
Best Man
It’s a pleasure to shine a spotlight on someone who means the world to James—his best man, Jacob Jones. From the moment they met at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, it was clear that their friendship was something truly special. Jacob has always been there for James, offering unwavering support and the kind of laughs that can brighten any tough day. Jacob’s qualities are too many to list—loyalty, humor, and a genuine kindness that touches everyone he meets. James fondly remembers moving in with Jacob and his sister, Lindsey, in Flagstaff. Not only is Tammy the mother of the bride, but she is also Madi’s hiking buddy, workout partner, biggest cheerleader, and best friend. Their bond is filled with years of shared adventures, from hiking trails to taking on fitness challenges together. Tammy has always been there to offer love, encouragement, and guidance, helping Madi through every milestone and chapter of her life. Madi feels immense gratitude for the love and care her parents have provided, knowing it has shaped her into who she is today. In retirement, Tammy has embraced her artistic passions, creating beautiful works through sewing, watercolor painting, and drawing. She also keeps herself active by attending Spenga classes, going to water aerobics, and enjoying long walks in her Tucson, Arizona neighborhood. When it came time to choose her Matron of Honor, Madi didn’t hesitate. Her mom has been a part of all the most meaningful moments in her life, so it felt natural to have Tammy stand by her side on such a special day. For Madi, having her mom as her Matron of Honor is a reflection of the deep connection and love they share.
