Truckee (~15 min drive) has a lot of great lunch spots including Taco's Jalisco, Wild Cherrie's Cafe, Full Belly Deli, Alibi Brewery, and Old Town Tap. Really, anywhere downtown is great! You can also head to Tahoe City and grab lunch by the lake. A few good spots include Garwood's, Sunnyside, and West Shore Cafe.
One of the classic summertime activities in Tahoe. The float takes roughly 2-3 hours on inner tubes. It's a relatively mellow float, but there are some light rapids. You might need to get out of your tube to walk through the river at certain points to get to the bank or possibly navigate shallow areas. We'll bring the drinks and music, just come prepared with a river tube (recommended one linked below). We'll also have a few electric pumps going at our cars day-of to pump up hte tubes.
