We're getting married!

We've known each other for close to 15 years now, and when we met in the 6th grade, I don't think either of us thought we would be here today. Our story really starts our Sophomore year of high school. We had become friends over the years and when we finally went on our first date (to a bookstore no less *swoon*) we bonded over sharing our favorite children's books. Little did we know when we both pulled the same book off of the shelf, each of our parents had read "You Are Special" by Max Lucado to us when we were young. Fast forward about eight years, a high school graduation, two college degrees from different universities, new jobs and adopting a kitten, and we wound up at that same bookstore on Jan. 18, 2020. In the same spot where we first connected over books, Chase proposed and Madi said yes!
